Assistant Director of Aviation, Finance
Clark County Department of Aviation
Tyler McHenry joined the Clark County Department of Aviation in January 2018 and serves as Assistant Director of Aviation, Finance. He oversees financial, accounting and budget operations for the organization, which includes McCarran International Airport, the eighth-busiest airport in North America.
McHenry and his team evaluate the dynamic and evolving airport environment with a long-term strategy for keeping operating costs stable while collecting fees from airlines and airport tenants. Federal grant reimbursements and tax revenues are also monitored within the Finance department.
Prior to coming to Clark County, McHenry spent more than 10 years in the public accounting sector performing various accounting and auditing-related services as a Senior Manager for the international accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP within their Las Vegas, Nevada and Campinas, Brazil offices. After leaving PwC, Tyler also spent two years as the Senior Manager of Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting for Scientific Games Corporation.
McHenry holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Accounting from Utah State University and has earned his Certified Public Accountant in Nevada.
